ENG/Elena Werner studied Fashion Design at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina and Costume Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium.
Even as a young child, she had a fascination for clothes. Because of her dream, she got her first job in the Flanders Opera. She worked also in La Monnaie, for Dries Van Noten and Maurice Bejart.
She has designed costumes for the tango dancers Regine Vekeman and Aki Bollengier (Polariteit), choreographer Sylvie Van Hulle (Wisper/SyDans Compagnie), mezzo-soprano Marijn Van Damme (Le spectre de la rose), filmmaker El tigre de los Sueños (Fata Morgana), La Barraca Theatre (Anatol), flower designers Ivan Poelman (AIFD's 2008 National Symposium) and Flora Caluz (Stof-e-Ring), Fashion Forward (Saradag/VTM), Katleen Renz (The Cast) and Grupo Noisette (MISSING & CARRYING).
She has participated in several exhibitions in Argentina( Centro Cultural San Martín/Centro Cultural Recoleta, Buenos Aires) and Belgium( Yohji Yamamoto exhibition, Museum of Fashion in Antwerp).
In 2007, Elena was awarded the museum prize from the Royal Museum of Central Africa in Tervuren/Belgium for her African headdress.

ESP/Elena Werner ha estudiado diseño de indumentaria y textil en la Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina y Diseño de Vestuario en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Sint-Niklaas, Bélgica.
Ha formado parte del grupo de trabajo para distintas producciones de la Opera de Flandes, La Monnaie, Maurice Bejart y Dries Van Noten, entre otros.
Como diseñadora de vestuario ha trabajado junto a los bailarines Regine Vekeman y Aki Bollengier (Polariteit), coreógrafa y bailarina Sylvie Van Hulle (Wisper/SyDans Compagnie), mezzo-soprano Marijn Van Damme (Le spectre de la rose), cineasta El tigre de los Sueños (Fata Morgana), Teatro La Barraca (Anatol), floristas Ivan Poelman (AIFD's 2008 National Symposium) y Flora Caluz (Stof-e-Ring), Fashion Forward (Saradag/VTM), Katleen Renz (The Cast) y Grupo Noisette (MISSING & CARRYING).
Ha participado de diversas exposiciones en Argentina (Centro Cultural San Martín/Centro Cultural Recoleta, Buenos Aires) y Bélgica (exposición de Yohji Yamamoto, Museo de la Moda, Amberes)
Ha recibido en 2007 el premio del museo por su diseño de un tocado africano para el Museo Real de Africa Central (Tervuren, Bélgica).
